Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering (SSNCE), founded by Padma Bhushan Dr. Shiv Nadar, Chairman, HCL Technologies, stands out as a premier center of higher learning with a mission of pursuing excellence in education and research. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering offers NBA accredited B.E. degree program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and M.E. degree program in Power Electronics and Drives. The Department has 28 qualified faculty members with PhD. The department is recognized as an approved research centre by Anna University for pursuing a PhD / M.S (Research) program. The broad area of research includes Power Systems, Power Electronics & Drives, Special Electrical Machines, Control & Dynamics, Renewable Energy Systems, High Voltage Engineering and Optimization techniques. The department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories like Advanced Power Electronics lab, Solar Energy Research Lab, High Voltage Lab and System Simulation Lab with licensed software like MATLAB, MagNet, Labview, PSpice, PSIM, PSCAD, Mipower, EMTP, etc. The department faculties have completed external funded projects and having ongoing projects funded by DST, AICTE, MNRE and NIWE, etc. Also, the department faculties have consultancy projects. The department has signed MoU with M/s. Danfoss Industries, M/s. Hibrise Technologies, etc.
The 12th International Conference on Electrical Energy Systems 2026 (ICEES 2026) is the premier interdisciplinary platform to deliver the latest developments and innovative research for all professionals, researchers and engineers. ICEES 2026 aims to foster interaction in the area of electrical energy systems with a specific focus to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Analytics enabling Power Grid, Embedded Systems, Renewable Energy and its applications from both academia and industry. The conference includes keynote addresses and invited talks by eminent speakers and presentations by participants. We sincerely believe that ICEES 2026 will provide the global platform for meeting researchers, widen professional contact and create new opportunities, including establishing new collaborations.

All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process and authors of selected papers will be invited to present their work at ICEES - 2026, after registration. The conference proceedings will be submitted to IEEE for possible inclusion in IEEE Explore, after the papers undergo a further round of reviews, at the discretion of IEEE.
